HIYAPAL!
DISNEY DAD!
HONORARY GUARDIAN!
SANE PERSON!
10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
1 OVER-THE-TOP WEBSITE.
I’m a diehard, pin-trading, park hopping Disney fanatic with a decade of experience in copywriting, creative direction, filmmaking, and project management. Disney has always been one of my biggest creative and professional inspirations. Now, I want to make it my job. Is building a website dedicated to this dream impressive or pathetic? YOU DECIDE!
OH WOW, I LIKE PERFECTLY MATCH YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION
Creative development expertise?
I have played the central creative role in the development of feature films, short films, commercials, and marketing projects, from script inception to distribution.
Scriptwriting and creative storytelling?
As the writer of two produced feature films and a short, a dozen spec screenplays, and countless commercials and videos, I bring a storytellers mentality to every project.
Content tracking and professional expertise?
I regularly serve as a project manager, producer, writer and director, all in one. I’m responsible not just for having a great idea, but making the idea a reality.
Leadership and video production?
I led a team of 15+ writers, filmmakers, photographers, and designers, creating a creative and collaborative culture. I participated in the entire production process—from location scouting to directing shots, collaborating across creative disciplines to tell powerful stories.
Post-production collaboration?
I supervise the post-production process, collaborating with editors, sound designers, composers, and more to bring the finishing touch to each piece.
Kill an eel, bury its guts? Sprout a tree now you got coconuts?
Sorry. You’re staring at the wrong demigod.
I DON’T WORK FOR DISNEY YET, BUT I WORK FROM DISNEY EVERY WEEK.
I didn’t want to ask my longsuffering wife to take a picture of me working so here’s a doodle instead.
Whether I’m hammering out copy at the Riviera Resort, or vibing in the solarium at Beach Club, I work remotely as a Creative Director from a Disney hotel at least once a week. As a central Florida resident it’s a quick drive. Besides, I like to think it adds a sprinkle of pixie dust to all my work. Is that weird? 100%. Is it also a little charming? I’m counting on it!

INT. DISNEY CASTING OFFICE - DAY
TYLER (39) sits across from a DISNEY MANAGER, mid-interview.
DISNEY HIRING MANAGER
You’re pretty experienced. Why leave a director-level position for this role?
TYLER
I’m a Disney World fanatic. My family and I visit twice a week and it’s long been my career goal to work for the parks. Sure, this little website is full of self-aware snark and silliness, but it’s all part of an earnest attempt to make my dream come true—and isn’t that what Disney is all about? Creativity, the power of imagination, and wishing on that far-off star? Holding hope that one day, someday, somehow, you’ll get what you’re after. Put another way, this right here, just sitting in a Disney office. This is my great big beautiful tomorrow. To actually work here? That would be ... pure magic.
(long awkward beat)
Sorry, did I make it weird?
DISNEY HIRING MANAGER
Oh, you made it weird a long time ago.
